Mindful Care Continues Adult Day Care Activities Amid Lockdown

Mindful Care Adult Day Services has turned to the online Zoom system to continue cognitive and physical activities five days a week for persons who have early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s or other dementia issues. Zoom is a web-conferencing platform that is commonly used for audio and/or video conferencing. It is designed for one-on-one or group calls, and sessions can be recorded to view later.

Mindful Care had to cease operations at its New Vision Baptist Church center in Murfreesboro because of the coronavirus lockdown, but our program director has established morning and afternoon sessions with participants who wish to zoom in on a video connection, or just listen by phone, Monday through Friday.
